Latchkey Before School  K.A.R.E.

Parent drop-off at Allen School, Chormann School, Fordline School, Grogan School, Northpointe School, and Shelters School.  It will be necessary for some children to be bussed to their respective school.  A light breakfast will be served.

Latchkey After School  K.A.R.E.

Working parents can now have peace of mind knowing that their children are supervised after school and are safe, secure, learning, and having fun. Our Latchkey Program is known as Project K.A.R.E. - KIDS AFTER- SCHOOL RECREATION and ENRICHMENT. It is licensed and maintains a ratio of at least one child care worker to 18 students.  Activities such as snack time, crafts or project building, playground/gym, and study/quiet time are organized.  Must be enrolled at least two days per week.

Summer Care Program

Working parents can now have peace of mind knowing that their children are supervised during the summer and are safe, secure, and having fun.  Our summer care program is licensed and maintains a ratio of at least one child care worker to 18 students.  Activities such as art, craft/project building, playground/gym center around weekly themes that have included the indoor carnival, Hawaiian Luau, and the outdoor Olympiad, just to name a few.  A light breakfast and afternoon snack are included in the cost.  Parents provide lunch.  All fees are non-refundable and due in full at the time of registration.  Registration usually begins in the spring and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

FREE Daytime Child Care for Asher Students

Students in our daytime programs (high school completion, GED, and ESL) will have FREE child care available for their children (2½ wks to 5 yrs).  The Children’s Learning Center includes development areas which will provide for the well-rounded growth of your child.  The center has an educational atmosphere which includes reading readiness, math readiness, etc.  Students can register their children for child care when they register for classes.  Children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  A $20 non-refundable fee per child is due at registration for child care.  A $20 non-refundable supply fee is due on your child’s first day.  Bring an up-to-date immunization record for your child(ren) at  registration.  Child Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm.
